I had the exciting opportunity to design the earlier stage of the NEDDIE dashboard from ideation to launch. I collaborated with the design team to strategize the UX content for the engineering team to work on the product dashboard. I followed the NEDDIE design system to develop a new user interface. I was responsible for designing a new version of the Volunteer Opportunities Page, Manage Pay Page, User Setting Page, and Global Message Page.
What is NEDDIE?
Updated third party payment system to enhance donation experience
Attendees need to finish scanning eight QRcode touchpoints in the beauty maze, and can show the completed card in the store to redeem their prize. However, there was a challenge of getting users to finish the game.

I was responsible for designing the new payment dashboard features that successfully increased satisfaction through efficient user flows and intuitive design experience.Used visual hierarchy to showcase primary data and changed a secondary info popup into a small clickable icon. Added a dropdown menu option to ensure users can easily filter by time duration preference.

Being part of a startup company, I was able to work closely with different stakeholders and collaborate with others to meet deadlines. Sometimes it could be a challenging process to find the balance between multiple projects. I grew as a multitasker along the way. These experience helped me learn how important it is to recognize what are the priority tasks, and what are not. Product design is not solo gameplay. Teamwork always makes the best work!
Be clear, be nice, and be open. First, try do not to take design critique too personally. Seeing the product from a different perspective is valuable. Second, receiving feedback is a great way to learn different skills and techniques from other people.Be prepared, and be specific. When giving design feedback, I love to frame my feedback suggestions by asking questions. Asking questions is a great way to get insight into a designer’s thought process before suggesting changes
